I have been on Synthroid for the past 10 years. My doctor prescribed me 300mg of Synthroid and a 500mg of Levoxyl. The medication has been a life saver for me. The levoxyl didn't work, so I switched to a different brand.

Condition: Condition to Condition

I have gained weight, and I am not satisfied with the results. I can't tolerate the side effects of this drug. I am not taking as prescribed and I have a very low libido. I am taking 2 tablets a day.

Condition: Depression

I was on 50mg for 4 days, then I was on 100mg for 4 days. My doctor prescribed me a 5mg Synthroid. My weight was still gaining...

My doctor prescribed me 100mg Synthroid. The only side effect was to make me feel really nauseous. I have tried numerous different pills. I am on a low dose, so it is not an issue. I am very happy and I am hoping that the next time I have a stomach issue I will start taking it. I am not looking to lose weight, I just want to continue to feel better.

Condition: Other

I have been taking this medication for a few years now and my doctor has prescribed it. I am very happy to report that I am in good health. I am a woman, and my weight has been getting to me. I am now 18 years old and feel fine. However, I am concerned about my thyroid hormone levels and the potential for negative side effects. The side effects of Synthroid are still bothering me.

I take Synthroid because I can't tolerate it and I can't keep a regular doctor for it. The dosage is very low so I cannot keep a regular doctor. My doctor prescribed me a 100mg tablet of this medication. The side effects are the same as the brand. The only difference is that I don't have a high cholesterol.

I have been on Synthroid since I was 10, and I am not in the mood for it, but I am feeling really tired and fatigued. I am starting to feel better. I have tried all the pills I could find, and I have been on them for three weeks. I am now taking them for 6 months now, and I can not stop. I still feel very tired, but not as fatigued. I am still a little dizzy, but I can still walk. I am also having some heartburn. I have tried the generic levothyroxine, but it does not work for me. I am having to take the generic levothyroxine. I am having to stop taking the generic levothyroxine. I am also having to take the generic levothyroxine and the generic levothyroxine, and I am having to take the generic levothyroxine and the generic levothyroxine. I have tried all the generic levothyroxine, and the generic levothyroxine, and the generic levothyroxine. I have not tried the generic levothyroxine. I am taking Synthroid for a year and I feel great. I am still having to take generic levothyroxine. I am having to stop taking generic levothyroxine.Read MoreWas this product review helpful?

Synthroid vs Levothyroxine: Which Is Right for You?

Synthroid and Levothyroxine are both thyroid medications prescribed for various conditions, including hypothyroidism. Both are prescribed for treating various conditions that can cause the thyroid gland to produce too much of the hormone thyroxine (T4).

Synthroid is the brand name for levothyroxine, a synthetic form of the synthetic thyroid hormone, T4. It works by increasing the amount of thyroxine (T4) produced in the body, which can improve symptoms of hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine can also be prescribed as a thyroid hormone supplement, but it's important to note that both are generally considered safe.

Levothyroxine is a synthetic form of the brand name Synthroid, which has been manufactured by AstraZeneca.

Both Synthroid and Levothyroxine are used to treat hypothyroidism. They should not be used to replace a healthy, balanced diet and lifestyle, as they can interfere with the body's production of the hormone T4. For those looking to improve their thyroid function, these two medications may not be the best choice for their specific needs.

In addition to their effectiveness in treating hypothyroidism, both medications may cause side effects such as muscle weakness, fatigue, and changes in blood hormone levels. These symptoms are typically temporary and subside once the body gets used to the medication. However, if they persist or worsen, it's important to consult a healthcare professional.

Side Effects of Synthroid and Levothyroxine

Both Synthroid and Levothyroxine are commonly used to treat hypothyroidism, a condition where the thyroid gland does not produce enough of the thyroid hormone thyroxine (T4). While both medications may cause side effects, some of them may be mild and go away over time. Some of these side effects include:

  • Weight gain
  • Fatigue
  • Dryness of the skin
  • Muscle weakness
  • Changes in blood hormone levels

It's important to note that both Synthroid and Levothyroxine may cause side effects. While both medications are generally considered safe for most individuals, they can have side effects that are more likely to occur. These side effects can include:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Abdominal bloating
  • Diarrhea
  • Joint pain
  • Increased appetite

Both Synthroid and Levothyroxine are thyroid medications that are primarily used to treat hypothyroidism. While both are generally considered safe for most individuals, they can have side effects that are more likely to occur. Some of these side effects may be mild and go away over time. However, if they continue or worsen, it's important to consult a healthcare professional.

How Levothyroxine Is Used

Levothyroxine is a synthetic form of the brand name Synthroid, which has been produced by AstraZeneca. This medication is an oral medication that helps the body produce more T4, which can improve symptoms of hypothyroidism. It's important to note that both Synthroid and Levothyroxine are commonly used to treat hypothyroidism, which is the most common form of hypothyroidism.

Levothyroxine is a thyroid hormone that is produced by the thyroid gland. The hormone T4 (thyroxine) helps to restore normal hormone levels, making the thyroid gland produce more T4. Synthroid is the brand name for levothyroxine, a synthetic form of the brand name T4, which is also used to treat hypothyroidism. It's important to note that both medications are generally considered safe for most individuals.

Thyroid medication is one of the most frequently used treatment for certain medical conditions. However, for a number of individuals, there are many different types of thyroid medications that are available. The following are the commonly prescribed thyroid medications.

The primary goal of any thyroid medication is to decrease or control the amount of hormones produced. In the case of the thyroid, this hormone is released in the bloodstream. There are two types of thyroid hormone, T4 (thyroid-stimulating hormone) and T3 (thyroxine) hormones. T4 is made up of four subtypes of hormones; T4-5 (thyroid-stimulating hormone) and T4-6 (thyroid-stimulating hormone). T3 and T4 are used to regulate the levels of hormones in the body. When the body is not producing the hormones, it releases T3, which causes a reduction in body temperature. The thyroid is also used to produce a variety of hormones.

It is also important to keep in mind that if you are being treated for any condition, including thyroid disease, the use of levothyroxine may not be necessary for you. The most common levothyroxine brands are levothyroxine T4 and levothyroxine Synthroid. In addition, some people are using levothyroxine in combination with other thyroid medications. In such a situation, it is important to contact a healthcare provider and inform them that you are taking levothyroxine. The most common side effects of levothyroxine are nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, and fatigue. However, if any of these side effects occur, it is important to contact a healthcare provider. It is important to note that if you are taking any form of levothyroxine, it should be taken only under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

Levothyroxine is a thyroid medication that is commonly used to treat conditions such as hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's thyroiditis. It is commonly used to treat Hashimoto's thyroiditis, a condition that affects the thyroid gland in the upper arm of the stomach. It is also used to treat hypothyroidism, a condition where the thyroid gland is underactive, leading to decreased energy and a lack of metabolism. The common dosage of levothyroxine for hypothyroidism is 25 mcg every day. It is important to follow the dosage instructions provided by your healthcare provider, especially when using levothyroxine as prescribed. In addition, levothyroxine may be taken with food. In that case, it is recommended to take levothyroxine on an empty stomach or with food.
